Program Overview

Building a Culture of Service Excellence

By Technicians, For Technicians  — The ProCura IoT Tech Platform is built to support the development of skilled tradesmen through structured training, mentorship, and shared field knowledge. It strengthens technical capability, reinforces best practices, and supports the operations of every customer we serve.

Introduction

This program guides the development of an Ingersoll Rand Field Service Technician Trainee through a structured, field-based training experience. Training is performed locally in the field alongside mentoring technicians. Mentorship is a core component of the program and will be guided by multiple technicians throughout your development.

Each day, learning topics and research materials are provided on this platform through daily reviews. These reviews are intended to be completed consecutively to support progressive skill development and

understanding. Download and print that phase’s syllabus to track your progress and maintain a clear understanding of the topics and materials you will be learning and developing.

Mentor Technicians are responsible for confirming completion and comprehension of the Technician's daily reviews, weekly verbal reviews, and the final in-person Demonstrated Ability Performance Test for each phase. After Phase 4, you will complete final assessments with the Davidson Technical Group.

Program Pillars:

1.

Guided research is completed prior to technical discussions with a mentor and is delivered through daily reviews on the platform. Content includes a combination of videos, Tech Direct articles, online courses, and a related reference materials designed to support progressive skill development.

2.

Technical Discussions

Daily learning topics are discussed with a mentor technician and are driven by the trainee. These discussions take place in the field, in addition to assisting the mentoring technician with scheduled jobs. When possible, the mentoring technician will lead hands-on discussions and demonstrations to reinforce learning in real-world conditions.

3.

Weekly mentor-led verbal Q&A discussions assess the technician’s understanding of the materials covered. At the end of each phase, an in-person demonstrated ability test is conducted with a Service Supervisor to verify the technician’s ability to safely and effectively perform the skills learned during that phase.
